The yoga aspect of Honu Impressionz was added in 2004. Samskaras, the Sanskrit word for impressions, are defined as imprints left on consciousness by actions and volitions. Suffering originates from these impressions or samskaras left within the brain. It is through the practice of yoga and meditation that we can begin to free these impressions, which are the cause of suffering. As stated by Patanjali in the Yoga Sutras, The causes of suffering are the root source of actions; each action deposits latent impressions deep in the mind, to be activated and experienced later in this birth or lie hidden awaiting a future one. So long as this root source exists, its contents will ripen into a birth, a life, and experience. This life will be marked by delight or anguish, in proportion to those good or bad actions that created its store of latent impressions. Therefore, to free these impressions is to free ourselves from suffering.

When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all your thoughts break their bounds: Your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction and you find yourself in a new, grat and wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive, and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be.

Everything you need is already within you. It is simply a matter of finding it. Those around you have the same; some may take longer to find it. Practice patience, loving kindness, and understanding to both them and yourself.
